There are some great races on the Formula One circuit and the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona is definitely one of the best. The track is fantastic, the race atmosphere is like nothing else and the city of Barcelona is worth a visit just on its own. This region is blessed with good weather year-round making the Circuit de Catalunya, home of the Spanish Grand Prix, the favored winter test track for most Formula One teams. For this reason the teams know this track inside out and get up to pace quickly during the race, making it an exciting event every year.

In the center of Barcelona, Las Ramblas cuts through the heart of the city. It is a vibrant and lively promenade offering Barcelona`s action at its best. Filled with newspaper kiosks, flower stalls, all sorts of artists, jugglers, human statues, and a host of good restaurants. A 1.2 kilometer-long tree-lined pedestrian way, it connects Plaça Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell.
